DIPLOMA IN CIVIL ENGINEERING:

Civil engineering is one of the most traditional engineering studies in India. British started very good schools for civil engineering studies and successfully completed some of the best public projects like Ganga canal and India’s Railway network to name few. A diploma in civil engineering will give good opportunities in industry as India is moving fast forward for infrastructure development and one the same time leave a good space for higher studies at home and abroad like B.Tech. in civil engineering.


Intake - 60 in Ist Shift & 60 in IInd Shift

Duration - 3yrs (Six Semester, 06 Month Each)

Eligibilty

A candidate must have passed 10th standard or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Mode of Admission:

  1. Through combined Entrance Test of JEE
  2. For details of the test refer to section "Important Instructions & Syllabi.
  3. The list of the candidates according to their order of merit in entrance examination and selected for counselling to Diploma courses shall be displayed on Notice Board/ Website. The date of counselling on which they have to report for completing the admission formalities.
  4. Selection for admission to Diploma courses shall be done through the counselling and in the order of merit of the Entrance Test.
  5. NRI/left over seats shall be filled on the merit of qualifying examination

Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings. Civil engineering is the oldest engineering discipline after military engineering, and it was defined to distinguish it from military engineering. It is traditionally broken into several sub-disciplines including environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, transportation engineering, water resources engineering, materials engineering, coastal engineering, surveying, and construction engineering. Civil engineering takes place on all levels: in the public sector from municipal through to federal levels, and in the private sector from individual homeowners through to international companies
